Everything was wonderful. Everyone was wonderful to us. The ice machines were not working durning our stay, so the front desk made sure that we had ice from the resturant any time that we wanted. You could not have made it any better. The room was awsome, the staff was awsome and loved how the room was set up. The only thing there was no water in the sink in the bathroom, but we did not care. We loved how the house keeping came to the room at the same time everyday to see what we needed and they always had a smile on their face. Our stay at the Sandcastle was once again a very pleasant time. The staff was excellent as was the room. The weather was colder in Myrtle Beach during our stay than it was here in NYS at the time of our visit. But that didn't bother us. We walked the beautiful new boardwalk part way - part way because my husband has two new hip replacements. We had no trouble getting around or finding anything we were looking for. We would recommend staying at the Sandcastle to family and friends. In fact, my brother and sister-in-law stayed with you after we recommended you to them.

We stayed at the Sandcastle at the Pavilion at Myrtle beach S.C. and had a wonderful time. Planned on staying 2 days but ended up staying 5 days. The people that worked there were really very nice and very friendly. Planning to go back next year.

We traveled with close friends to this hotel for our Spring break vacation having never been to Myrtle beach before. I was quite skeptical especially with the price we paid. When we got there the room was spectacular. oceanview like it said clean and the cleaning staff and hotel staff as a whole were fabulous. very nice and prompt. When we asked for something or needed directions they were there and helped. We were close to everything. the morning view from our room was captivating. we sent pics home and everyone was jealous. We are hoping to plan our next vacation there very soon.

Much improvement since the last time I stayed there! This was my second visit there. Staff were all very friendly and the check in and out procedures was very fast this stay. We will be back many times. The rates were very nice. I do think next time I will try Oceanfront view. I have tried Oceanview side and street. Next visit and to others I recommend the Oceanview on the back facing the pool area. It is worth the extra few bucks. I also saw more security at night this stay. I was impressed by the gentlemen patrolling the parking garage. I did not see this last time. Very nice!

Our trip was absolutely amazing. The prices were great and the hotel staff went above and beyond on every level. We had a slight maintenance issue and our maintenance guy showed up quick and was extremely helpful and nice. We will definitely stay at the Sandcastle again!

Everything was just fine we had trouble with our sliding door and we told housekeeping and maintenance was there within minutes. The housekeeper for our room was excellent, she kept our room clean and in order and was very friendly and helpful we could not have got anyone better.

Everything we requested was done. We requested to have our room on the same floor as my parents and the front desk arranged it for us. I requested a coffee pot and the front desk gave us one to use for our stay. I was extremely satisfied with our stay and my children loved the pools. Everyone was very child friendly. I will definitely recommend the SandCastle and stay again.

I could not have asked for better service. We booked a stay here, because our friends picked this hotel. It may be a little old, but it was clean and the service was great. There was a odor in the elevator and in the hallway when we got off the elevator, but I figure this could be from it getting wet from people coming in from the pool or beach, as our room did not smell. ALL of the staff was very friendly and courteous. Just to see them smile in passing and ask how we were was nice. I hope to return to Myrtle Beach, and when we do (which may be in December) I will definitely book with this hotel. I have stayed in more than my share, and for the price, you can't beat the cleanliness, and the friendly staff. Thanks Sandcastle, for a memorable vacation. We certainly enjoyed it. We just recently enjoyed a 3 night 4 day family vacation. For the money we paid it was a great deal with a fantastic view. I will recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great vacation at a fraction of the cost at most resorts. The hotel was clean and the amenities were more than expected. We have stayed at Sandcastle at the Pavilion in Myrtle Beach for 4 yrs and have had a Great time! The location is good . It's close to many restaurants, shops,and entertainment. The rooms are always clean and spacious. Maid service is Wonderful. They accommodate most request to make our stay enjoyable. The staff are professional and courteous. It's a Wonderful place to stay at an affordable price.

Recently my husband and I stayed at the Sandcastle on vacation..we had already reserved the room when we found the reviews on the internet. Needless to say, we were apprehensive about what we would find when we got there after reading the reviews...however, upon arriving on July 4 2007, we found our rooms to be very clean, a great view (7th floor) and the employees were very courteous. We were there until July 8th, and had no problems whatever. The cooking utensils were clean and we had everything we needed. Our stay was very pleasant and we would consider staying again in the future. Yes there was only 1 elevator in our building, but we did not find ourselves waiting for long periods of time to get on. There was easy access to the beach. The pool was cleaned every morning that we were there. The only drawback was people putting towels on chairs early and saving them for later..but that is going to happen anywhere you go. It was a very enjoyable trip and I would recommend this place to my friends.
We enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and smelled refreshing everytime we walked through the door. We will be back to stay at this hotel hopefully in Room 310. Great view of the ocean.
