18-31 - Myrtle Mystery Dinner Theater -An interactive comedy "Who Dunnit" dinner show! A murder happens during the course of your meal and you're held in the middle of a murder investigation. Everyone is a suspect... if you figure out who did the crime, you may be rewarded! Show includes a three-course meal featuring a Blues Brother Salad, Citrus Marinated Chicken Breast, Rice Pilaf and Seasonal Vegetables and House Made Key Lime Tart for desert. 20-21 - 29th Annual Wooden Boat Show -The Georgetown Wooden Boat Show – always held on the third weekend in October – features one of the Southeast’s best wooden boat exhibits with more than 140 classic wooden boats displayed on land and water, children’s model boatbuilding, knot tying, maritime art and crafts, food and music. A special attraction is Saturday’s Wooden Boat Challenge when teams of two race to build a rowing skiff within a 4-hour time limit and then test their boats for seaworthiness in a rowing relay on the Sampit River. Sunday is a fun-filled family oriented day that includes a Cardboard Boat Regatta, and an Opti Pram Regatta. The Wooden Boat Show takes place on the waterfront and along Front Street in Historic Downtown Georgetown

20-21 - Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon -Sunday, October 21, 2018 Start time: 7:00 am This amazing course features the best of Myrtle Beach with over 5 miles of oceanfront running! From its pristine parkways to some of the nation’s most visited beaches, the course takes you on a tour of one of America’s most scenic beach communities. Start at Coastal Grand Mall (near Dillard’s) and head north on Grissom Parkway all the way to 62nd Ave N. and take a right. At the end of the road, turn right onto Ocean Blvd and head south for over 5 miles of beachfront views. Get on the boardwalk with just about 1/2 mile left and finish right at the Pavilion in the heart of Myrtle Beach and feet away from the sand. Did we not say this course is flat and fast, fast, fast! With only 7 turns throughout the entire 13.1 miles you could not make it much faster!!

20-20 - Wynonna Judd -At the Alabama Theater - Country icon Wynonna Judd has been cranking out No. 1 hits since the 80's, and three decades later she sounds as vibrant as ever with her band The Big Noise. Wynonna made her debut with The Big Noise in 2011, and since then the group has wowed critics and fans alike with their passionate performances of her classic hits and new tunes like "Love it Out Loud". With tender ballads like "Come Some Rainy Day", rollicking tunes like "Girls With Guitars", and highly personal anecdotes from the grande dame herself. Wynonna and The Big Noise have something for everyone on their exhilarating live tours.

26-27 - Atalaya Fall Festival & Haunted Castle -Join us at Atalaya for an evening of frightfully fun family entertainment! Enjoy two haunted houses, carnival games, spooky movies, a bonfire and more!

27-27 - Halloween Bash on the Avenue -The Avenue at Broadway at the Beach will be ROCKIN' with the wildest costume party east of the Mississippi! DJ Rick will kick things off at 7pm. $3,500 in cash prizes for top 3 best costumes. Live music inside Hard Rock at 8pm with Paperwork. No Cover. Come check it out and see what all the buzz is about!

NOVEMBER 2018

3-3 - Brew At The Zoo -This craft beer tasting will feature over 30 regional and national selections and offers a rare opportunity after-hours to see Brookgreen’s Lowcountry Zoo. Guests receive a signature tasting glass and enjoy a silent auction hosted by The Friends of Brookgreen Gardens.

8-11 - Dicken's Christmas Show and Festivals -And their eyes were filled with wonder & delight......The tradition reigns and the holiday sparkles brighter than ever with the return of the Dickens Christmas Show & Festivals to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, November 8-11. Each year brings new festivities, crafters, artisans, exhibits and tours and this year is no exception.

10-11 - Atalaya Sleepover -Spend the night at Atalaya, and enjoy everything from ghost stories to nature hikes! Dinner and breakfast are included. A limited number of tents are available to borrow.

17-17 - Annual Tree Lighting at Market Common -The annual Christmas Tree Lighting at The Market Common will be held on Saturday, November 17th, from 6 PM until 8 PM. In addition to the Complimentary Carriage Rides from 6 PM – 9 PM, there will be a trackless train for the children on Deville Street as well as a balloon artist, carnival games and inflatables on Reed Street. The stage events in front of the Grand 14, will offer an array of holiday music by the Carolina Master Chorale and Vocal Edition, followed by Santa! He will use his magic to light the tree and then be in his sleigh in front of The Grand 14 and available for pictures and to visit with the children. Bring your chair to sit and listen to music while the kids play and visit with Santa! We are looking forward to seeing you all there!
